Billions of people still suffer due to poverty, a serious problem that despite some improvement remains with great differences among the population. All sectors of society should combine efforts to deal with poverty. it is not about ending suffering but also making happiness and well-being available for all. The joy and the fulfillment that come from overcoming poverty can be experienced by everyone at any time we work together.

Poverty in today’s world isn’t just about being penniless but also the absence of opportunities, medical care, and education. It is a complex situation that dehumanizes people and makes them lose their potential. However, advanced technology may be or however much some economies have grown, poverty remains around implying that it is multifacetedly curable.
Poverty has complex roots enmeshed in other issues. It paints different pictures from the slums of our cities to the backwaters of our countryside; however, the story remains one—people caught up in a circle of lack. To completely get rid of poverty we must have an amalgamation of immediate relief and long-term strategies that enable individuals to develop sustainable sources of livelihoods.

Healthcare: Building a Foundation for a Healthy Life

Just like Ban Ki-Moon said:

"I believe in a world of justice and human rights for all. A world where people can grow up free of fear of abuse. A world where people are treated with the respect and dignity that is their right. A world where poverty is not acceptable. My dear young friends, you can make this your world"- Ban Ki-Moon
